Kyoto University held “Kyoto University Chemistry Talent-Spot Manila 2023” on Jan. 29th, 2023. This was the 8th event (including online), which the ICR has been hosting around Asia since 2017. Seventeen shortlisted students from top Philippine universities, including University of the Philippines Diliman, University of Santo Tomas and De La Salle University, were invited to attend one-on-one interviews with nine professors. Students enjoyed communicating directly with professors, and the event helped them target their potential supervisors. They seemed to be more motivated to study at Kyoto University in the future through the event.
