【ICR Weeks】The 14th International Conference of Electroluminescence and Optoelectronic Devices (ICEL 2024) was held (November 12-15)

On November 12-15, 2024, the international conference “14th International Conference of Electroluminescence and Optoelectronic Devices (ICEL 2024)”, hosted by Prof. KAJI, Hironori (Molecular Materials Chemistry) and Assoc. Prof. HIROSE, Takashi (Structural Organic Chemistry) was held at the Obaku Plaza on the Uji Campus as a part of the ICR Weeks.
Recognized as a leading research conference in organic electroluminescence and devices, this event has been held, mostly every other year, since its founding in Fukuoka in 1997. The conference serves as a pivotal platform for physicists, chemists, and engineers to discuss their latest research and developments within the domains of organic electroluminescence as well as optoelectronic materials and devices. This year, the 14th ICEL was held in Kyoto.
Esteemed and emerging researchers from 21 countries, the United Kingdom, Germany, Sweden, the United States, Italy, Canada, the Netherlands, Belgium, South Korea, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Japan, gathered to participate in honorary, plenary, special, invited and contributed talks, alongside poster presentations, fostering active information sharing and exchange of ideas. During the closing ceremony, outstanding young researchers with promising futures were recognized for their excellence in oral and poster presentations.
