14th International Conference of Electroluminescence and Optoelectronic Devices (ICEL 2024)
The 14th International Conference of Electroluminescence and Optoelectronic Devices (ICEL 2024) will be held from November 12-15, 2024. Recognized as a leading research conference in the realm of organic electroluminescence and devices, this event has been held, mostly biennially, since its founding in Fukuoka in 1997. The conference serves as a pivotal platform for physicists, chemists, and engineers to discuss their latest research and developments within the domains of organic electroluminescence as well as optoelectronic materials and devices. The 14th ICEL will feature plenary, invited, and contributed talks, alongside poster presentations by esteemed and emerging researchers from around the world. An array of subjects will be explored, providing a comprehensive perspective on contemporary advances in these fields. We look forward to your participation.

Japan-Taiwan Initiatives for Quantum Matters and Carbon Neutral
The Institute for Chemical Research at Kyoto University and the Center for Condensed Matter Sciences at National Taiwan University have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in 2014 to collaborate on research in solid-state chemistry and solid-state physics. Research groups from both institutes share common interests in the synthesis of new materials and the evaluation of novel physical and chemical properties. We have also developed international collaborations through the ICR International Joint Usage/Research Center (iJURC) program.
On the occasion of the renewal of the five-year MoU in April 2024, the ICR-CCMS MoU Renewal Workshop “Japan-Taiwan Initiatives for Quantum Matters and Carbon Neutrality” is organized to further develop our exchanges and collaborative research. The workshop will be held at the National Taiwan University in Taipei, Taiwan.

Shanghai-Kyoto Chemistry Forum
In 2019, an On-site Laboratory of ICR: the Kyoto University Shanghai Lab has been established at Fudan University in Shanghai, China. Since then, the Shanghai-Kyoto Chemistry Forums has been held three times in Shanghai and online. To commemorate the 5th anniversary of the establishment of the Kyoto University Shanghai Lab, we will host the 4th Forum at the Uji Campus, Kyoto University, inviting faculty members from Fudan University. Fudan University and Kyoto University (ICR and iCeMS) will present their research results in the fields of new materials, energy conversion, and chemical biology, foster exchanges between the two universities, and explore effective resources and research collaboration.
