【ICR Weeks】4th Switzerland-Japan Biomolecular Chemistry Symposium held (November 7-8)

On November 7-8, 2024, the international symposium “4th Switzerland-Japan Biomolecular Chemistry Symposium (SJBCS2024)”, was held at the Obaku Plaza on the Uji Campus as a part of the ICR Weeks.
This symposium aims to promote research and human exchange between Switzerland and Japan, focusing on the fields of biomolecular chemistry. It is held alternately in Switzerland and Japan. The 4th symposium took place in Kyoto, featuring 12 invited speakers from each country. From the ICR, Prof. FUTAKI, Shiroh (Biofunctional Design-Chemistry) gave a lecture. The event was very successful, with leading researchers from both countries presenting their latest research achievements.
