On October 3, 2023, The 1st Perovskite International Research Collaboration Center (PIRCC) Workshop was hosted by Wakamiya Lab (Molecular Aggregation Analysis) at ICR.
   Professor PARK Nam-Gyu, Director of the Institute of Energy Science and Technology at Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU) in South Korea, together with Prof. SHIN Hyunjung, and Prof. JUNG Hyun Suk, attended with their students and postdocs. This international collaboration project is supported by the International Joint Usage/Research Center, ICR, as well as National Research Foundation of Korea. Participants from other domestic universities included Prof. SAEKI Akinori (Osaka University) and Prof. ITO Seigo (University of Hyogo), along with their students and postdocs. The workshop features 17 presentations given by students, postgraduate researchers, and young researchers, with the students of ICR serving as chairpersons and conducting activities such as lab tours. In this workshop, many fruitful exchanges and discussions took place under student leadership.

On June 5, 2023,　Institute of Energy Science and Technology, SKKU and ICR, Kyoto University signed a MOU to promote interdepartmental academic exchange.
