On 16th July, 2024, fifteen people including faculty members from Universitas Indonesia, JICA, RIKEN Center for Sustainable Resource Science and Maebashi Institute of Technology visited Bioinformatics Center, ICR. Specially Appointed Professor Minoru Kanehisa gave a general introduction about Kanehisa Laboratory and KEGG (Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes). The participants then took a tour of the SuperComputer Systems. After the tour, Dr. Endo, Dr. Mu and Dr. Nguyen from the Ogata Lab, the Akutsu Lab and the Mamitsuka Lab, presented overviews of their researches. The participants listened attentively, and a lively discussion took place.
