On December 4, 2008, a delegation of the National Science Foundation, USA, visited Uji Campus.

On December 4, 2008, a delegation of fourteen members from the National Science Foundation (NSF) visited Uji campus as a site-visit of JSPS-NSF Symposium held in Tokyo. After Director-General Yokoyama of the Organization for the Promotion of International Relations and Director Tokitoh of ICR outlined Kyoto University and the Uji Campus, respectively, the visitors exchanged views with the representatives from our four research institutes located at the Uji Campus on the topic of "International communication between Kyoto University and foreign institutes”. Thereafter the visitors toured laboratories in Advanced Research Center for Beam Science.

	Director TOKITOH of ICR participated the discussion on communication.	Professor SAKABE showed his "T6-laser," in his research facility.	Professor ISODA demonstrated the High-Resolution Electron Spectromicroscope.
